The sign just outside Puppet Park read, "Puppet Park." Another sign read in part, "Coyote Rising," and listed a schedule. Mushrooms were one form of puppet parked inside "Puppet Park." These mushrooms were large enough to be worn by a person. One of the mushroom puppets was suspended in a manner that made it appear to be dancing a jig. A dragon was another of the puppets inside "Puppet Park." This dragon was also designed to be worn by a person. Another puppet, designed to be worn by a person, was a blue woman carrying speared fish.

A closer view of a toy tractor painted on the painted bookshelf at sidewalk-level. A large figure of Ken Kesey was painted on the side of a building in downtown Springfield, Oregon. Notice how some of the windows had been converted to bookshelves. A closer view of some of the books on the sidewalk-level bookshelf. Among the titles were, "The Road," "Tortilla Flats," and "Beat Poetry." Next to the personalized license plate was a book entitled, "History of Springfield." Old style video tapes were also stacked on a shelf of the sidewalk-level painted bookshelf. A couple of the titles were, "Big Beat Club Acid Test," and "The Grapes of Wrath."

Monday 7 October 2024 "The Moderns" Mural, Artist: Patrick Curtis 408-0049 1992, Restored By: Willey 2023, 602 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon

A lad leaned on a side table and waited to be seated. One artist, Patrick Curtis, painted the original mural in 1992. Another artist, Willey, restored the mural in 2023. The signatures read: Patrick Curtis 484-0049 Restoration by Willy '23 A woman, dressed for cold weather, walked a dog past the outdoor seating. Behind her a boy sold newspapers. A newspaper boy held newspapers in his right hand, and placed his left hand in a pocket for warmth. The mural was painted on the side of a store at 602 Main Street in Springfield, Oregon. It depicted an outdoor restaurant scene. A sign posted next to the mural indicated that this was the main office for the Academy Of Arts And Academics.

A sticker was affixed to the mural. That sticker read, "Overlap, Self Care, Super Store." The bottom of the mural featured a human face, with one eye, a nose, and a mouth. The artist's signature was in the lower right of the mural. It read, "@Baynegardner -14-." The signature and sticker were attached to the cloud of smoke coming from the human's mouth. This mural was painted on the back of a building in downtown Springfield, Oregon. It depicted a bird face above a human face, next to a small face. The human had split teeth with smoke coming out of both sides of the mouth. At the top of the mural was a bird's face. It had a green beak, with red and yellow eyes.

The flying Great Blue Heron's wing extended down, almost all the way to the ground, and covered a window. The right hand side of the building was occupied by the word, "Oregon," a tall Great Blue Heron, and an arrow pointing to, "George + Violet's House." The middle of the building was occupied by the words, "Welcome To Spring...," and a large flying Great Blue Heron. The mural, called "Welcome to Springfield Oregon," occupied the entire side of a large building. The artist's signature was partly obscured by a rusted metal fence. The signature read, "Old City Artists . com." The left hand side of the building was decorated with large purple flowers.
